Unbroken (Blu-ray SteelBook) (Best Buy Exclusive) [USA]

I think the Czech release may be the one to go for. Probably the same Steelbook but it's a limited, numbered edition. Hopefully, one of the Film Arena Collection with a full slip and art cards and a GB from @carllenc.
Almost every copy I looked at had some kind of imperfection. The bottom of the steels had a lot of scratches. I noticed paint chips, spine slashes. I thought I got a good copy until I unwrapped it. My copy has a couple tiny dings on the front cover on the bottom and side edges that were un-noticeable with the shrink wrap on. No point in swapping it out since the remaining copies have imperfections.
I made the same comments on the steelbook haul thread. I must have gone through between 15-20 copies and all of them had scratches and paint chips (on the bottom and in the lower front area). The one I bought was the one I settled on with the number of imperfections -- not a good way to buy. I wonder if it happened at the hands of careless Best Buy employees or at the careless hands of the manufacturer packagers??? I'm in Chicago, by the way.
My first copy had scratches on the bottom. I swapped it for one that looked good to me but I guess not. The last few steels I bought in BB or Target, for the most part, all had some kind of damage. I'm guessing US steels are getting damaged during manufacturing. Kind of disappointing to be honest. At least my Hobbit steel was undamaged. I'm 1 for 2 today. I'll take it.
Bestbuy Steelbook and Walmart Exclusive Amaray
It appears the Walmart book is within the amaray (didn't open it as there's a shrinkwrap covering the slipcover)

Doesn't surprise me at all. I have found that it's better to find a copy you get to inspect thoroughly (if available) and take it to store pick-up. Today when I went to pick-up my reserved copy, the rep had a hard time removing the stupid huge pick-up label. She struggled so much that she ended-up ripping the shrink wrap and still couldn't remove all of it. As I stood there, holding the copy I was going to take, which I had inspected, she actually placed the ripped-up copy in one of those transparent bags, ready to hand it to me... I then told her that I would be take the one I was holding... She gave me a dirty look... Seriously???? What if it was a gift???

Not unless it's from a reseller. I would either join a group buy for the Canada version, or ask someone here to help with the USA version from Best Buy.
Universal Studios is 99% region free Basil. You should be OK to play the USA or Canada version.
