Same dude, really looking forward to this one and a nice finish would seriously be the icing on the cake.

Which is why neither Zavvi or Studiocanal are responding to any questions. Too afraid they will loose a ton of orders if they confirm matte. There will be a lot of angry collectors if this is not premium finished, and the fact they won't confirm finish means we have no comeback. I expect price fixing by Disney they have always done that in the UK, but not Studiocanal.

Hopefully someone cancels, I really liked this movie and the steelbook looks really nice! Didn't get to it in time. I wish it wasn't a studiocanal release cause it is region locked.

I would keep an eye out or subscribe to the thread. I'm sure there will be some cancellations at some point.

Why all the hate towards matte finish, they can be premium too. It can go either way with both finishes matte can be premium as can gloss but both can have a cheap finish also. I think this would look great in matte like Byzantium by Studiocanal, the front artwork looks really nice and the colours catch the light beautifully.

Everybody has their preference I suppose, I guess I haven't quite found my just yet. Got an interesting mix of matte and gloss in my collection I'll have to see which ones I really like the most and post them. About time I did that.

Hi Dave hope you're well, To be honest didn't know a lot about this,was my own fault as I couldn't decide but after watching a trailer & reading up on the story sounds like my type of film. As you said probably will become available knowing Zavvi

Yeah this will definitely come back in, I can see quite a few cancellations due to price if Zavvi don't confirm the finish before release. It's very expensive for a title like this if the finish is the usual terrible studiocanal matte.

They wait till nearer the launch date and put all cancellations up together.

Steel-usually any cancellations are announced and go back 'on sale' but sometimes they are just made live again. We'll post if we get news!
