Yep, I've seen the design work ... But not the finished steel book in hand, I'm thinking more along the lines of print quality, gloss application and the dreaded paint chips more than the design of the artwork. But saying that, I'm sure we can pass any paint chips off as more stars on the artwork!!!

haha, that is true, if there are a couple of paint chips, I think they will just blend in as stars.
Regarding the overall steelbook quality, I think even Zavvi realizes they can't get away with selling a $50 steelbook without it being an absolute gem.

Just watched it and I'm gutted that I decided to pass. This is an astonishing film that has so much going on beneath the surface and working on many levels. Someone above mentioned it's a character study of the Alien, I must disagree as I see it as a character study of society, with the Alien the blank canvas looking in.

I have little doubt that it will be timeless, looked back upon as one of the great Sci-Fi's.

Hopefully I can pick one up from Ebay at a reasonable price.

Yeah, I cancelled mine too a few days ago. Way too much for any steelbook. Plus I still feel shafted by Zavvi for the price drop on Maniac Cop after one week. Not giving them any unnecessary money.

honestly $50 (incl. Customs in GER) for this includig unsecure packing..is a little to much.
I get Parfum Fullslip Kimchi for less bucks... just as a example.
