I would've preferred the text in the front. :emb:, but still looks nice.

I never ordered from Zavvi before, how long does it take to arrive to the US?

I moved and been having issues with forwarded packages at the post office.

Need to catch this when it arrives to the original address.

Hey G:Box - about 10-14 days plus. I've even seen them come in @ 30 days.

Perhaps your best bet is to check with Naughtius Maximus? Not only will you get safe delivery, but he likely would hold it for you until you are settled and ready to receive a package at the new address.

Lol, personally I think this is one of the most boring designed steelbooks I've ever seen. I would never buy this, not even for 9,99.

There's more chance of England winning the World Cup than me buying this for £24.99. Where are they pulling these prices out of? The mind shudders to think. It's not a bad steelbook, but it's no where near special either.

Yeah from now on...thats the way to do it. I just had pre-ordered this and forgot. Shipped without me noticing. :hilarious:

£25 is perfect for this release! If it had a kimchi logo it wouldnt even be back in stock.

Looks like Zavvi finally have a proper true collectors steel.

You crack me up sometimes. :hilarious: No slip cover, no booklet, no extra disc, just a flat studiocanal standard steelbook of an average art house flick. It's daylight robbery compared to Kimchi/PA.

Now I've got mine in hand, I think I'd also prefer it if they'd left the title on there... it's a tad plain without it imo. It's still a really nice steelbook though and the finish is spot on! I really hope this becomes the norm for StudioCanal steels from now on.

Corrected for you :p

:hilarious: Come on pal, 2000 is hardly 'extremely' limited is it? And apart from Scarlett
getting her norks out,
it really is a bit of a boring, long drawn out affair (which isn't necessarily a bad thing when it's done right) but the film just drags and doesn't really deliver any significant philosophical punch. If you're happy though, that's good. Can't help thinking that the invoice for this release could have been signed off as 'We saw you coming!' though. ;)

Back to your Transformers bluray box set for you then, eh? ;)

Might not quite be in my top 10 steels but it's probably the best Zavvi release I've ever went in for. Like the film it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but if you like a clean design with a striking blend of colour (the stars pop inside the face image really well) then this should press your buttons. Matte finish would have killed this - they made the right call and I say this as not one of those collectors of the persuasion that every steel needs a gloss finish. The black sheen seems appropriate too considering Scarlett's favourite hangout spot in the film.

Er no actually...you can take your Transformers, and your Marvels, and your puerile super hero inspired abominations against the medium of 'film', and 'put them in the biggest f***ing dustbin you can find'. :hilarious:

Just because a film is an art house one, doesn't make it good. Generally I love art house/independent/niche/foreign cinema; they comprise some of my favourite movies of all time. This one however was just 'meh'. And some are just plain dreadful. :emb:

Edit: Anyone get the meta-reference in that post? :ohno:

Glad to hear it looks great. Wondering though whether I should order a backup copy just in case one of them arrives dinged up.

I can return 1 of them if it comes damaged, or sell 1 if both are mint.
