Pre ordered with intent to cancel. The front is.....ok! She's a killer. Those luscious lips, looks like she can do work But It's called "Under the skin" - (should be " Under the Clothes") - anyway, key word "skin" and I want to see more of it. Show me some of that 'skin' dammit to hell!

Far be it from me to tell people how to spend their hard earned cash but by paying £25 for basically a poor b-movie you are just paving the way for more price increases, so don't come crying when zavvi start to release £30 steelbooks, because you know they will, that's the problem with collectors, we are suckers and companies know this and zavvi seem to be on to a winner

This is the thread of Zavvi HATE! I'm smiling at so many haters.
I'm keeping my options completely open.
I've ordered it and will cancel nearer the time if the finish is not 5 star.
Its a silly price, but I would hate it if this is another "Worlds End".
Very interesting if this sells out today, as it's gone on sale earlier than expected and many members will still be at work not expecting this on sale yet.
Interesting how this threads comments will change if it sells out soon!

I've pre-ordered this, I believe that whether it turns out to be a matte or gloss finish this is going to be one gorgeous steel. Sure, at £24.99 its very steep but I reckon it could be something special. Oh, and ofcourse it will sell out

Under The Skin wasn't exactly a box office smash, so it needs to recoup plenty of $$s through home video rights.

Sorry, but I disagree. In the past Studio Canal titles like Place Beyond the Pines, Byzantium and Filth were all not smash success but they still priced the steels at 19 and 17GBP. How is this title any different than those?

You can't say the same to thor, frozen cap America, they made tons of money and zavvi still charged £25!

Because it's a new release and ultra limited they thought they will try their luck!

This film will only have a 2D disc so the price is still too high compared to the Disney steelbooks.
