This would look really nice with a gloss finish. The contrast of the colors against the black back drop would look really cool. I'm hoping that is the case. Hopefully we'll get more info. closer to release.

Yup, there is indeed a big difference between the 2000 and 4000 print run. There's also a BIG difference in the in the £14.99 that PL was going for and the £24.99 that UTS is going for.

But then there is the SJ in the buff to be taken into account...

Is anybody really buying it because of a naked Scarlett? I feel sorry for these folks to be honest, for even as a key thread of the plot there's almost no titillation factor. Anyone expecting to be aroused...watch out you don't find yourself sinking.

Hmm. Maybe they don't have the info. yet for this release. If it turns out to be glossy, I will 100% for sure keep my order. If it turns out to be matte, then there is a 50% chance I'll keep it. I haven't seen this yet but it seems like an intriguing movie. I'll be honest, if Scarlett wasn't in this, I may not have pulled the trigger

I enjoyed the film, and will happily buy a copy to watch at home. I will go for the amaray version if Zavvi don't confirm the finish very soon.

Zavvi customer service staff most likely don't know what the finish is yet as their not told anything lot of the time
The Zavvi buyers most likely do know but sometimes even they might not know as its the studios who arrange them been made and might not have fully decided yet

I'm sure we will be updated in near future on the finish details if HDN are given this information but as you already know a lot of the time we as collectors only find out when someone gets its in the post delivered and posts the photos or video
Its not just Zavvi exclusives releases that we don't find out till delivery it happens with general release limited steelbooks Amazon/Zavvi/Hmv/etc

Its really only Blufans and other Asia releases that give upfront info on finish and actual photos before despatch
UK best studio for giving advance actual photos and extras information and overall release details is Arrow Video

HDN get told sometimes about the finish and they have always let us know when they find out anything and I'm sure they are trying to find out for us


You could try contacting Studiocanal but they might not tell you as some studios don't discuss a release with the public but they should do in my opinion

Note As this is a studiocanal release I would not be expecting a gloss finish as majority of their release have been a matte finish (some have been very good matte finishes)with a couple of exceptions been a gloss finish

I watched this movie already at the theatre. It was very indie and low budget. Not sure why Scarlett agreed to do this movie. Perhaps returning a favor to the director or producer. Even with her in the movie, the theatre was empty. Not a movie that I will watch again. The price is insane. But the art of the steelbook is not bad. Give a sense of mysterious. After all she played a seductive alien.

It's a polarising film, love it or hate it kind of thing. I think half of the people in the showing I went to just wanted to see if they were caught on camera in Glasgow

I think it was a good role for her though, she was excellent in this !

I don't think a single item I have preordered from zavvi has ever dropped in price until after it's been released, so the chance this will drop is very very unlikely.

If it does truly sell out then I doubt there will be a price drop before release.
