And I worry about the sanity of people who want to ram their flawed opinions down people's throats. A lot of people liked this film, get over it.

You're rich saying that mate after quoting all the IMDB and Rotten Tomato scores on the previous page. Grow up and go and watch some more films with guys getting their tackles out :hilarious:

The weirdos who liked this will make a point of posting on those sites skewing the scores and making it sound good. It's a bit like all these bands that are critically acclaimed but sell b*gger all because, although they get great reviews from so called 'journalists' the regular people think they're crap.

My opinion on this turd won't change and rather than as you say 'ram my thoughts down everyone's throat' I feel my opinion might be of relevance to people who are blind buying this.

I wouldn't order this even it was free. It was arty farty nonsense with s**t acting, no storyline, horrendous music and a p*sh meaningless ending.

That's my view and I'm sticking to it.

Game, set and match.

Quote the Foot... Always proud.

so what ya saying people who like this movie are weird,
just because you dont agree with this movie
doesnt mean you should start bitching others who do like the movie.

In a nutshell... Yes I do worry about the sanity of anyone who can actually sit through this and enjoy it.
However people who 'dare' to say anything bad about this cinematic turd in this thread seem to get flamed or have cheap shots against them so I decided to stand up to it.

I'm not asking people to agree with me but I am giving my opinion, which this board is all about. I struggle with the idea of paying over £20 for a nice steel of a film I really like so the idea of paying £24.99 for THIS is just well.... :dunno:

You're not just giving your opinion, you're quite literally telling people what their opinion should be, too. You can say negative things about this movie, there's definitely nothing wrong with that. But when you start attacking people about their tastes in movies, then that's why people have a problem with you.

I could be wrong if this shows up in other countries soon, but the £24.99 price point is obviously because Zavvi knows its worldwide exclusive to them. This and the UK amaray are also the only releases outside North America. They know its the only option for many people around the world. Plus it doesnt hurt that die hard arthouse fans will usually pay a high premium to be included in the party.

I'm slightly worried by your ability to run off a list of films that feature guys knobs :hilarious:

"Contain", not "feature". Reducing those films to the statement that they "feature guys knobs" does a disservice to the messages of addiction, persecution, etc. that they deal with.

Honestly do yourself a favour mate and cancel this as it is a steaming pile of turd. Unless of course you WANT to see guys knobs :naughty

Maybe I'm just secure enough in who I am that it doesn't matter to me. Why does it bother you so much? ;)

if you dont like the movie that fears and thats what this thread is all about but dont go around insulting others,i can assure you with the comments you are making your not doing yourself any favors,,
sounds like your the wierd one at the end of the day not understanding the difference..

Any mods on here that could please possibly ask any Zavvi connections what the finish is on this? They are more likely to share with you than a general customer :)

I'm getting the impression it is matte. I tried contacting Studiocanal over a week ago and they have not responded, which is bizarre because I have contacted them a few times before regarding other blu ray releases and they have always responded. Clearly they have something to hide. :squint:

Whether this movie is any good or not is by the by for me - £25 for a single disc release with no 3D, no bonus dvd or UV copy, with the same art as can be found in the amaray. No thanks.

Everyone please keep the conversation civil and refrain from hurling insults. We respect your preferences, but insulting others in order to assert your opinion will only lead to more bickering. Comments like those will be deleted. If you have further questions please contact me or any other mod. Thanks.

Yes we get it, you don't like the film - that's just fine, it's not for everyone, but you're just coming across as incredibly childish at the moment.

If you really have nothing constructive to add and detest the film that much, there are topics on 100's of other films on this forum - perhaps consider posting in one of those.

For the record, I loved Under the Skin and have it in my top 10 films of last year, from the 300+ I watched

And no, I don't require your services :hilarious:

Edit: mods - feel free to remove this post - it was in response to the deleted post
