Anyone have any experience ordering from Kimchidvd to the USA? I'll probably go with K2 since they are solid, but was curious about Kimchi.
I have ordered numerous items from them for the last year or so, they are just superb, everything from friendly customer service and prompt communication to great packaging and very competitive prices, on the check-out you can mark your parcel down in value and as a gift, you can also leave a note which I advice you to (request of secure packaging in a cardboard box etc - I do that all the time and not just with them but with every other etailer including K2DVD & Yesasia etc), I buy from everyone and while nothing is guaranteed as anything could go wrong via transit with any etailer I'd give them a shot and you won't be disappointed, hell just mention my nick-name djhilalo to Tony in your note and he'll sort you out :D

Thanks Hilal :scat:

Hey guys, are you ordering this one based on price, or is there a difference I've missed?

For me, it's price.

Got my first ever package with 4 Steels from Kimchi and have to mention that I am very disappointed with the packaging. 4 Steels stacked on top of each other with no cushioning between them, just 2 layers of bubble wrap and put inside a not so hard cardboard box. The worst part was the tiny address label, stuck to the bottom right hand corner of the package which was half squashed in transit. This is why I always print the address labels in bigger font and stick to multiple sides of the package.

Tony is the chump who stopped responding to my emails. Long story short I ordered an OOP CJ Ent. first pressing from them, paid and never received the item and Tony just stopped responding to me. I see you always seem to have good things to say about kimchi but I cannot recommend them. I HIGHLY suggest sticking with k2dvd, they are the best from my experiences, I rather pay the couple extra bucks for the peace of mind should something go wrong they will take care of me, which they have! Luckily my CC refunded me the money. ;)

Is this release 3D like the FS version?

The I totally agree with WEB X the Taiwanese version has a way nicer slip and beats the Korean one by miles, also TWs steels tend to be more sought after than Korean versions once they go OOP, just my 2 cents ;)
