Hey guys-this is complete speculation (we love this in the Steelbook collection game!), but I happened to be on the Wiki page for Universal moments ago, and saw they posted a list of 'Universal 100' titles they plan to release at this time. This doesn't mean they will appear in 'Steelbook' format. Some already announced as Steelbooks may not even appear on the list below.

In case they don't become Steelbooks, they'll still stay on the radar for future feedback to studios.

With this many catalog titles comming out and a min print run of 4000 I say its gonna have to be at a cheap price. Thats alot of steelbooks and I dont think the average person can afford to buy them all. Too many too fast IMO.

Its not like we don't already have new releases to pick from.
 
Chip, yes, this is just a release list they posted for regular releases. I agree that slamming the market in excess is :ohno:. However most people won't care to buy them all anyway, so hopefully they pick and choose wisely if they release even more...
 
Nothing wrong with tears, even for a guy, imo. After all, film is supposed to stir us-so whether to laughter, anger or tears...works for me-it means they've done their job:)

I know. An emotional response is the sign the film was good. Laughter and tears is what makes a film top notch and this one did it the best. Its one of my favorite tear jerkers in a LONG time.

The music they used was phenominal. It really added to the emotions.

Yes, the studios tend to release and re-release the same 'bankable' titles in different packages, much to the heartache of multiple format collectors....
