Universal 100th Anniversary Slipcovers (US)

OK ninja members, as we all know Universal is celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year. They will start releasing new catalog titles and re-release titles as Combo Packs. The first wave will be release on 1/10/12 (except for To Kill A Mockingbird). And I think (not sure yet) Universal will be adding more through out the whole year of 2012. Wreck has already confirmed that they will indeed have slipcovers

Think slip covers give a good edge to the look of a movie, certainly lenticular, these UNIVERSAL 100th Anniversary slips are closely followed by release of UNIVERSAL 100th Anniversary Steelbook(TM) I THINK ??

I was at Walmart today and found these Paramount 100th Anniversary slipcovers. But they were for DVD's. Hopefully they will make blu-ray slipcovers.

If Paramount does release anniversary BD slips, I hope they look nothing like the red DVD slips they have out right now. Very ugly.

Universal nailed the design with theirs. Ironic, because I generally love Paramount's revamped brand style and dislike Universal's.

Strange that there's nothing for the first The Mummy film as only its sequels is mentioned in that list. Nice looking list, though. I'm definitely in for both Conan films, End of Days, Legend, The Mummy films and Pitch Black.
