Wow. That is a very clean steelbook. I really like it.

If anyone from the USA ordered this... how much was the total after shipping?

I got a slightly better price on release day... but it should be around $22 for the steel, + $20 shipping... so maybe $42-43 total.

One way to look at the high shipping is this... $17 per order, + $3 shipping for each item (including the 1st). So, you can spread the $17 over multiple steelbooks and make the per steelbook cost a little more reasonable. I ordered 8 titles.. so my cost for this was about $21 + $2 + $3 = $26.. not bad at all.

Rubbish looking Steelbook due to poor finishing. Thought it will be similar to the first white wave but it is not even remotely close.

Not Camera friendly at all. The moment you shoot with the flash on the whole front gets smudged. Same with Amadeus.

I did some image correction and made it look more presentable but the raw image even with the flash off is absolutely terrible.

Warner could have at least added some embossing which would perfectly fit this Steelbook design.

Without flash and serious image correction

But when I flash on Batman Begins or TDK or Seven or Matrix (white version) it comes clearly without any smudging. It doesn't take more than few seconds to understand how poor the finishing is on this Warner wave. Try photographing this Steelbook and any Steelbook from the first white wave in a dark room with the flash on.

well to be all fair...i understand what you are talking about and i am not here to change your opinion or anything :)
the V steel...has a shinny part (the mask) which with flash it will reflect light from a flash...thats why i always take pictures at angle of natural light....(but the camera has huge play in this)
also its more matte than the TDK and BB begins.
and last but not least...they were release in an era of when the steel community of collectors were being formed...unlike the V which is released in the era of which studio will generate more profits ;)

Got your point but I was just stating the fact that the finish quality is so poor that is not camera friendly at all. Snapping from an angle reminds me of the poor premium collection Steels released in the UK.

I was expecting this to be finished similar or better than TDK / BB JP which isn't the case.:(

yes yes i know)
dont even expect that anymore...if you want quality...go FS/blufans...you know them already... ;)
the rest personally i just buy to buy... :p

Got mine today from Yesasia safe and sound. Only 12 days since they posted so I'm quite impressed with that! Does anyone know if there is anywhere specific to request this be added to the collection manager? I notice Amadeus & The Goonies from this wave have already been added some time ago

Got mine from HMV.CO.JP, the spine is dented twice, it was sent in a padded envelope plus I had custom fees to pay, will not be using them EVER again

Sorry to heart that mate :(

Use YesAsia whenever possible. They use boxes with bubble wrapping

Pretty unfortunate...I would contact them regarding the dents though and maybe they'll resend you a replacement. But the problem there is it will probably sit thru customs again. My first order arrived a few weeks back with no issues but I ordered it as a gift option. Not enough padding though so I was suprised the corners didn't have any issues.
