German steel has German text which doesn't appeal to a lot of Collectors hence the cheap price. Slips aside English titles are more collectable. Not just the print run that will see this sell out. Superb film, great art + hopefully lovely finish, makes it the best version released so far :D

I'll be picking up 2

I think since some people missed BJ and MA, they will most deffo wanna get on this. I'd be VERY surprised if this wasn't sold out in under an hour and a half.

Just swap the disc , when the new transfer is out?

There is no new transfer. The transfer is not sh*t either but it is a byproduct of the low bit rate super filtered VC-1 lab experiments conducted in conjunction with Microsoft during the HD-DVD era. In the name of compression efficieny they applied way too much filtering, took the film grain and high frequency information out of the frames. Same applies to many titles like Batman Begins, Troy DC, Training Day etc.

I don't have this on blu-ray and I don't really care how crap the transfer is as long as I receive a mint copy of the steelbook. I can always swap out a better transfer in the future.

Does that mean it's crap in English?
