So glad this is actually full glossy. It really looks amazing, bit like Jack Reacher with that super shiny dark red embossed title. The V on the back has a really cool effect too where it shines a bit silvery in the middle when tilted in the light (like a metallic gloss).

Zavvi also shipped mine in a cardboard envelope, but thankfully it's not damaged.

Although on AV forums they are reporting the steel arrrving in both the original white box packaging and the cardboard mailer so they must have run out of boxes at some point during the packaging for posting process.

Thankfully after this I don't have anything coming from Zavvi until the end of June, so hopefully this comes in one piece.

This looks awesome, I just hope the single copy I ordered arrives unscathed. The border isn't great but the embossing on the title makes up for it and of course the glossy finish is welcome. I hope Warner have more releases like this around the corner.

The ignore feature was designed for situations like this. He has nothing interesting to say. His posts effectively consist of saying 'grail' in every Asian release thread and trying to wind up others in Zavvi threads.

It looks pretty nice, shame about the border cutting into V's face. I do prefer the inside art of the Canadian release though.

it'd have been better with just no border/embossed (or just debossed).... besides that it really really looks excellent!! (actually I also think they shouldn't split the V face into 2....)

Mine arrived this morning in the normal white box as did Evil dead 2 yesterday but the Good the Bad & the Ugly was in cardboard envelope luckily no damage.

I agree about the framing, but I also have an issue with the chosen colors. Would've preferred red/black. Maybe it is, but the pics look like orange and black.
