Zavvi releases did use to have some hype, even at 4k. then they got a bit greedy and flooded the market.
I hoping these recent 2.5k steels means that they considering catalogue releases a bit more sensibly now.

Zavvi seem to have slowed down the rate of exclusives considerably. Unfortunately it seems the studios will just go trade wide with their titles if Zavvi don't want them. Fox have a wave a month for the next three months. Ridiculous.

Right fair enough, let me rephrase my question, what time do these things normally go live? I know Mars Attack went live at 4am PST, is it the same time for all the steelbooks?

Release times vary. Zavvi usually follow a weekend release but these titles are a little unpredictable. |We are all in the same boat.

It is possible this might be released later today. We have to keep our eyes peeled. Subscribe to this thread to be notified.

The reason I ask is that between 8-9 this morning "NOT LIVE YET" was added to the top of the thread page and you still asked the question. Apart from page 13, nearly every 3rd question has asked what time is going live.

No one knows (apart from Wreck maybe). At the moment we cannot go on previous times as they have all been on different times and days of the week.
If you join the Zavvi email list for steelbooks you get a new steelbook alert the same time it goes on sale.

I think its difficult not to become impatient, as we had Beetle Juice and Mars Attacks announced at the same time and both have been and gone. Maybe Zavvi should not have announced it just yet, to stop expectation.

That said, I think a few people need to calm down with the repetitive questions, as it will just cause annoyance after a while.

I am sure when the continuous posts of "ordered" are seen, you are safe to assume this bad boy is for sale.

Don't know about Daves email list but go to Zavvi website and they have it on there. I got the email alert for Mars Attacks on Monday at 9:18.
