this is really annoying that scalpers are buying so many and theres no chance for people who are at work to buy any am really annoyed at zavvi

I did get this one but I have missed out on many, including Stargate that I really wanted. When it is a limited amount, it should be a max of 2 that you can order. So many times, there are soooo many on ebay of limited ones for ridiculous prices, it is kinda pathetic. I once got told on ebay when I enquired about a extortionately priced one, "...you should have pre-ordered one..."

I would have if so many annoying people didnt order like 10 each just to sell, people who actually wanted them might have got them. It's typical but still sad. It's not Zavvi's fault, it is human greed.

anyone who missed this should be annoyed at themselves only, not the "scalpers", and not Zavvi either. there was plenty of advanced notice on this. it's been posted for over a week that it was going live today, and it was available to order for over 2 hours, not 14 seconds like Thor Kimchi. Anyone who missed this just didn't want it bad enough.

There are other forums that give out info when these releases go live too not just HDN, all contributes to being sold out quickly. As for resellers I think if more than 5 are ordered then Zavvi cancel the order but i'm not 100% on that.

Limit for a limited release should be no more than 2 the first day as far as I'm concerned. Give everyone a chance for 24 hours.

or had to work, or had to spent time with friends or family.. those ppl now have to pay twice the retail price because some greedy scalpers try to make a few very lousy bucks out of this (winners are again the post office and ebay)

That's a terrible idea. This hobby is almost entirely based on the idea that Steelbooks are rare and sought after. All the hype and excitement comes from this. It would be a much more boring place if your idea was implemented.

Not everyone has the opportunity to use their phone when they are at work and my wife, who could order for me, also cannot use her phone at work. I am not complaining, like I say, some I get, some I don't.

reason why annoyed at zavvi in a way as would be good if it hadnt gone live at a time when people would typically be at work still but that doesnt mean im not annoyed at the scalpers either who are just as bad

I think any time of the day will be bad for at least some group of people. The weekend in the evening (morning for me) seems like the best time for the majority of people. Unfortunately not for everyone.

Zavvi is in the business to move product out as fast as they can. They don't want to hold stock as they will then be forced to lower the price and write down.
