Well as far I remember Mars Attacks i ordered last Saturday on the motorway M4 ( lucky was bad traffic , as always there) on the way to Reading. Thor 2 Kimchi I order in the middle of my interview for new job ( went to toilet) I get steels ;) and new job :) if you want something very much you should try your best before looking for excuses . Congrats to all :)

Just need to hope your not around me if I ever have a life threatening situation, at the same time a steelbook that you want goes live.

There not as rare and sought after as you are believing. Most sell for huge losses later down the line so if this is your idea of sought after then you may need to have a re think

Oh dear. You have no idea what you're talking about. I never stated that this (or any other title) was my idea of 'sought after'. I simply stated that the Steelbook hobby as a whole is based on perceived rarity and that not revealing print runs would destroy this. It seems your reading comprehension is as bad as your grammar.

This would never sell out if it were restricted to 1 copy / person; this demand is totally artificial due to resellers buying up a huge part of the stock

True. There are two main reasons why titles with smaller than average print runs sell out. The potential to make a quick profit and the fear of missing out.

Actually, I think he is exactly who you want with you in a time of crisis. He'll see you through while making sure you get your copy!

On an unrelated note, I grabbed two of these in the hopes to trade someone for Stargate which I missed out on. Otherwise it goes to a Ninja in need for actual cost instead of adding the scalper VAT.

:hilarious: :hilarious: seriously one of the funniest back to back combo of posts I've ever seen. I don't know if you were just kidding or if you were serious, (and fwiw, I certainly hope everything is ok with you if you are serious) but either way your timing could not have been better GT.

I have High Blood pressure and have to get it tested once a month after 12 hours of fasting. Maybe it would be cured if I found a different hobby.

Thanks once again to the guys behind the scenes at HDN we managed to get advanced warning of when this was going live, so the disappointment should be limited for everyone wanting a copy

I wonder about these bulk orders that get cancelled though. People must know that it is likely their orders will be cancelled based on all the other steelbook orders in the past. I have this picture of a person sitting behind their desk and ordering 10 copies of every new release and ending up with 0. Surely people can't be that dumb

"Forgetting" this was going live can hardly be called a reason to knock Zavvi and their order limits. If people wanted it badly enough they would have set their smart phone to annoy the crap out of them at go live...

However based on the fact this was 4am in the morning Melbourne time I got an added bonus for getting up and ordering a copy...A smack from the wife for waking her up.
In future I have to weigh up whether paying an inflated price on eBay is better than putting up with a grumpy partner all day. "Want to go somewhere dear ?". "No, I'm too tired, some idiot woke me up in the middle of the night" :D

Just sleep on the couch in future. Problem. Solved.

Sat 5pm is the best time for all parties IMO. People are busy on sundays more then saturdays. You cant have it any later or any earlier. People will still moan though

I have the CA V for Vendetta but I have always hated that steelbook even though it was better than an Amaray but I caved I got this one. It's just so damn nice. Zavvi has been on point lately.

LOL, aus-oh no! Glad you got your order in-as far as bulk orders-new folks are always joining the Steelbook hobby, so I am sure there are always those you try again to place bulk orders. I am assuming bulk orders will be cancelled as they have in the past, but we've not heard so directly yet. Every time zone can't be accommodated, but if we're provided any info in advance, we'll let you guys know as always:)
