Same official mock up done for Clash of the Titans, which we all know became a steel and looked just like it. Will V The Complete First Season be next? EEK! (more pics at link, too late for me to post them all right now)

Yeah thats nice, i hope it's real along with the disturbingly hot alien chick printed on the back. isn't that the same actor from stargate sg-1? the one that played the super ancient?.

That's Morena Baccarin - I remember her from Firefly - but I just checked IMDB and it says she was in SG-1.

BTW, the mockup looks DVD sized. Is that correct?

Hmm, just looked at the other pics at the link Wreck provided, and it does look DVD-sized-hmph

Yes, unfortunately it does look G1 sized :(

That would be a tragedy as I would be on this like ......... well like me on a steelbook if it was G2 size

One of the few cases in life where smaller is better ;)

But does the Clash video look G1?

I think its just big for visual purposes.

Future Shop has mentioned that they are getting a V Season 1 Steelbook, assuming it's the blu-ray release.

If that's the case, the chances that it's G2 went up significantly.

If only Best Buy is getting it, I think it's more likely to be G1. :(

Lets hope for G2 in both countries, but if the twilight new moon steelbook is used as a guage, they could be completely seperate releases/orders

Very true Michael. I hope they have the same artwork...because I don't think G&M has retooled their factory in the US yet.

Although, you gotta think that G&M is going after BDMO in the courts in US / Canada like they did in Europe for copyright infringement.

The latest IronPack news is just too huge for G&M not to do anything.

Absolutely agree. The Disney Iron Pak thing is a huge blow and I was very surprised to hear about it.

Will be interesting to hear of anything legal going on

Truthfully I've not kept track of the whole drama with the injunction. Is Disney not able to do Steelbooks in Germany or the UK? Maybe they now signed some contract with the folks from Iron Pack, though. I don't want to derail the thread-I was just curious.

It's BDMO, the creators of IronPack that can't sell / distribute their items in Europe.

A judge found that there was a plausible copyright infringement and issued a court order such that BDMO can't sell IronPack in Europe for now.

Copyright is very tricky, and I'm sure will take a while to be resolved.

If you want some more info, I can provide links, etc that I dug up a while back.

Not sure if Disney has an exclusive deal with BDMO for their new titles or not - even if it spans multiple countries.

Hey Ap-yeah, I figured this is a huge "gray area". I wish there was a way around it, so we at least have more Disney Steels, but the dollar and the legal hairline fractures rule at the end of the day....

Yet its strange that they still have Warlords Ironpack on .de and a new release war movie coming up (cant remember name)
