lucky for me my gf thinks v-day is just another overrated "holiday" to hike up the prices around town and overcharge you

Um. Yeah. My Dad got that for my Mom when he was working up in D.C. a few weeks ago.

Its a trap, you always need a backup present, that doesn't totally say V-Day on it, so if nothing happens, you can use it at a later time.
dono what works for your girl, but what I always have said is NO FLOWERS! they just die. I've always told Off if he wants to get me something, get me a plant that I can put in my cube or in our house somewhere. That way I can have my memories of VDay all year! bonus if I can put it outside in the spring.
yah, the wife doesnt like flowers. i took her to DSW to get her a new pair of slippers since she doesnt have any and she always uses mine.

I took us all out to eat lunch at a new restraunt, then we went bowling and we bowled a collective 240
Nice! That sounds like fun! Think it's more about being together and having fun than anything.
