Value Guide for Buyers & Traders

Prices will vary depending on which country you are from, so giving a value is not easy as it is.

For example, Pirates 1-4, if you ebayed them individually, especially Pirates 1 FS, that will go for at least £100, if not maybe over as it is the rarest of the pirates to source. So I would say Pirates 1-3 is near £250 - £300. But this is the prices for Europe. If this was Ebayed in USA/CA it prob be less because you do not take into account the expensive import and shipping costs that Europe have to pay.

As for Sleeping Beauty AA, $125 maybe the going rates again in USA/CA where no additional import costs are applicable. But to get this delivered to Europe can cost upto £100 generally speaking $150.

So IMO it would make sense to try and acquire this from your home country first.

I have a hypothetical question related to value...

Could you guys check out the picture in this post and see if you would consider that steel mint or not? It looks like a manufacturing problem because I have more than a few steels in my collection that look like that. If I sold that to you as mint and you noticed that, would you have a problem with it?

Thanks!

Hi there mate, just looked at the photos.i would class that as a manufacturing problem for sure.i would also say that due to no fault of yours, this steelbook could not be classed as mint.so if I bought it as being mint, then I would have a problem with it:thumbs:

Value for:

Metropolis (New and sealed)

True Grit (Greek) (New and Sealed).

Le grand Blue 1/4 (New and Sealed)

Thanks

Whats the general value of an open/mint Pans Labyrinth IT? the first bluray steelbook

I'm pretty sure that the German Pan's Labyrinth was the first steelbook. The value for a sealed/mint one should be around 50€ whereas the Italian version was released later and fetches about 35-40€.

What's the going rate for the Iron Man 2 Target Exclusive?

Is there anyone selling a sealed copy on here?

Well I kept my eye on it and placed a last minute max bid of £90, was hoping to get it for around £75. It shot straight up to £92, £95 including postage. Someone must have put a max bid of nearly £100. I can't believe it's worth that much. My snipping did cost someone an extra £25. :naughty:

I'll keep looking, bound to get a better deal on this than £95. That's getting into sealed Thor territory.

Whats got a "higher" value and what would it be?

Death Race 1st Edition MM open but mint condition
Death Race 1st Edition MM sealed - 2 small scratches. 1 Front Blu Banner 1 on the Back. Shrinkwrap is open about 4cm

Hi guys,

Can anyone give a valuation on these 2 please :

Ratatouille (FS)
Cars (FS)

Both Unsealed but Mint

Thanks for your help :)

Is there a definitive ratings list of conditions ?

Not picking on the above, but I wouldn't consider something that has been opened as mint

It can be. No paint chips/scratches/dents/dings/shelf wear. I have steels that have been opened and pollybagged but are still in mint condition.

You just call it new if it's been open ;)

Whereas I feel if the seal has been removed, then it can't be mint as its not in original condition. If its then poly bagged with no paint chips etc, then it's in excellent condition.

I would never buy a Thor that's been opened as it will have lost any HMV stickers, so therefor isn't mint.

Differences of opinion ;)
