Yeah they don't come cheap. I've got one in transit. I didn't pay 100 dollars for it, but put it this way, it didn't come cheap!

I have to gather them up and sort through them.
I thought ID4 would be worth a lot more than that. I don't see many of those around on ebay or any sites.
Brand new sealed? Wow. $300 min. I could see it go for $400+ on the bay tho. Saw 2 open ones go for $400+ Tho I know of a few people (including myself) who were battling it out at the time ... so don't know if it would sell for quite as much now. Maybe though. I wouldnt be surprised if it sold for $500 though, but I think $300 is fair. I've seen open ones sell around $200 on the bay too.
Is USD$100 a fair price for this Future Shop exclusive steelbook case only? A friend of mine has one whom I am trying to convince to give to me for free. He insists on fair market value for it which he claims is $100 with a dead serious face.
I must admit it is one sweet looking steelbook but it is blank case for crying out loud

2nd off, it's definitely in the top 10 best looking steelbooks EVER.3rdly, Ben has a few in his trade/sell thread for $90 shipped and he packs better than a professional mover lol. So if you are willing to spring for it, I'd recommend that. I would say its price range should be $80-150

Yeah, average price range though ... Anything under that I consider a score. And let's face it, anyone willing to fork over the dough for it is more than likely a Transformers fan of some sort. In which case, they probably already own ROTF so they have their disc.

Biscuit - that was my first reaction too!! But after I'd seen and held it, definitely it is the real deal.

I've enjoyed the first movie, haven't watched the other 2 tho. I've heard very bad reviews for the sequel, and the 3rd one one well I've lost interest.
The steelbook looks very nice tho, I'll give it that!
Yep, that's why I had to pay a lot for an empty case, it's not the film I'm after lol got two versions at home. Its the collectable rare case, not only is it rare, it looks the best out of them all. The blu-rays are easy to find.
This thread is a real threat to my bank account and sanity! Too many rare/expensive/cool steels being talked about in here!

Don't get me wrong, some steelbooks are definitely worth $100 in my opinion. I just think it's too much for a case, especially for a blind buy of a movie many consider being not good at all. I got the german re-release for 11 EUR, not going to pay $100 for a case but that's me
