Yes, Im collecting form the beginning,acquiring steelbooks at their original cost and not via trading or auctioning.

Hey there, very nice steels you have there...Have you been collecting from the "beginning"?

Anyways, my definition of sealed means shrinkwrap intact. Mint means no visable imperfections.

I'm OCD, I like my stuff perfect. Shrinkwrap totally intact, no snags or scratches on the seal. No loose discs, dings, dents...In other words, pristine condition.

Things like stickers have nothing to do with sealed or mint. But some people love them, like me! Shows origin, history...

Back to your pix, all look mint and sealed Don't worry about the stickers or not having all of them. Some people pay more without or with, personal preference.

Question about "SEALED" - Youre answer/s is/are appreciated?

1. To what extent does the definition of "SEALED" means

2. Is a legitimate and uber MINT Sealed Steelbook are those which have the authentic "Price Tag"?

3. Is a "SEALED" steelbook more convincing if there is a "made in mexico" transparent sticker and or color dark blue ink stamped at the back?

4. Is a "SEALED" considered "SEALED" if there is no manufacturer / retail store sticker of exclusivity?

5. Is "SEALED" more reliable if certain retail 1st week bonuses are included (Dark Knights' mini postcards)?

I would say $75-100. Believe or not just the other day I think I saw a copy for $50... I used to think this one was in the $150 range... but it isn't.

$50 is about right in my book. Although it has fewer numbers in circulation, the KOR edition is, IMO, the best valued collectible.

I agree, the Korean edition is the best looking one. At least it's region free. I was going to get the new UK one that's coming out but it appears to be region B locked from the picture of the disc.

Nope! Someone offered it for me as a trading chip, and I wanted to know if it was valuable or not. I have my answer

Believe it or not, I haven't watch the movie yet, so if I want to start collecting all editions of a movie, I'd rather chose one that I like.

^^^ Agreed, Korea wins for sure in my books on the Hurt Locker front. Even with the release of the UK one the Korea one will be "the one" to have for its lower numbers and region free disc. My sister has Hurt Locker USA steelbook and I will admit it is a very nice steelbook.

By the same token I can honestly say my Korea Hurt Locker is one of the nicest steelbooks in my collection. Top 10 for sure.


Im not sure how much the Korea Hurt Locker is worth now, but, I paid $45 for it about a couple months ago.
