Value Guide for Buyers & Traders

I sold mine for cost price. I think only French collectors would be interested in it and collectors looking for all releases of Avengers.

I am surprised this isn't worth more. It's 'limited' to 2000 in France and it's fully uncut many other editions.

I have a some of the Best Buy Ironpack case's and a couple steelbook double's Id like to sell. What would the Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King cases still sealed be going for? Thanks in advance and I apologize but 129 pages was a bit much to go through.

unfortunately the empty best bu cases are not worth much..around $15 each,Beauty and the Beast maybe $35

Too many Avengers steels and VMBs released, that's why. I was also quite sure Tintin Auchan would be worth a whole lot more than what it is now...

Ebay is always going to be expensive, you need to take into account approximately fees and shipping as well. It all eats up. In general, steels value wise has fallen. Too many releases and all the cash if spreading to all the steels available. Spreading the love, that's what it is :)

What is the value of these ;

1) Skyfall JP

Thanks.

Under $100 from Japanese merchants. I've even seen some go for $58 USD, excluding shipping. You need a contact in Japan to get a good price.

no sticker upto around £200, with sticker £250 - £300.

A reasonable member's value on HDN - £150 - £175 no sticker, £200 - £225 with sticker :)

These stickers are valuable as slips. EEK!:ohno:

The sticker makes a huge difference because 1 it proves its factory sealed, 2 it's harder to get one with the stickers and makes it that extra 'rarer'. Most people who buy an expensive steel are gonna want all them little stickers :)

Look at the TDK FNAC.

no sticker - worth peanuts.

With sticker - sell a leg and arm.

Open the steel - worth peanuts.

Keep it sealed - grail :)

I never took serious attention to stickers, but your valid points have changed that.

FNAC'S are the most notable ones with stickers because you are paying for the name - 'FNAC'. It's almost like a dealer's stamp of an authentic steel from that company.

For example, my AV unit is 'THX certified'. It's a stamp to say it has met the standards of THX sounds etc. Just buying an AV with that certification and stamp on there will cost more money. You might not even notice the difference but you pay the extra knowing it's THX certified.

Well it's bit like stickers. It's a stamp to say it's factory sealed. With FNAC'S it's even more rarer stamp to say it's a FNAC exclusive and no other tom, dick or harry trying to claim it's a FNAC exclusive.

So like I said about TDK FNAC, open FNAC steels, the value will shoot right down, keep them sealed and you hold their value.

Same goes with slips. However, slips will keep some value but you are guaranteed a drop of at least 50% +

The reason why these steels drop so much in value if opened because there is no guarantee that the steel you are buying is a FNAC exclusive or the Asian slip exclusive such as those for Thor JP, Korea, CA TW, T4 TW etc.

The steel is all the same worldwide.

So if you want the best ones, its a battle between
Slips vs Stickers! Take your pick :)

However, with T4 IP it's much different because that is an exclusive artwork worldwide where no other country has it. So having a sticker missing won't affect the value too much, same for IM FS, because no one else is gonna have it lol.

Hope this helps :)
