Curious what the following are valued at nowadays
- Sleeping Beauty (new/sealed)
- PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl (open/mint)
- PotC: Dead Man's Chest (open/mint)
- PotC: At World's End (open/mint)

It depends if you intend on selling in North America or elsewhere because those go for less in the US and Canada vs The rest of the world.

Can anyone tell me anything about this steel? Apparently, about 5 years ago, it was given out at future shop to very few. Like each store had 1-2. Supposed to be super exclusive. I don't own it, but might be looking to purchase. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Most importantly if it's a legitimate steel or not? Any help would be much appreciated! The guy who owns it, wants $300 for it, claiming it's worth AT LEAST DOUBLE that...

It does look to be a steelbook, however it is only the DVD version, as I see no markings on it that indicate it's a Blu-ray. Not sure if that matters to you or not.
Also, I'm sure you can find the newest release of this title on eBay from Zavvi in Blu-ray Steelbook form for much, much less. Again, not sure if you care if it's a Blu-ray or not.
Are you thinking about purchasing for value alone? After searching around a bit I can't find anything about a DVD release in Steelbook form for this film, but I'm sure if someone searched hard enough they'd find something.

I agree, 300 is very steep for a G1...BUT...just wanted to ask around. You never know. You guys could've just as easily said, "You better buy that, bcuz there were only 50 of them made and you NEVER come across those...EVER!" At first glance I laughed too, but like I said, just wanted to confirm. I will definitely be emailing future shop... This was a non-ninja buddy of mine who sent this to me. I told him to let me check on it for him and not to do anything until I did. Thanks guys!

Yeah, I own a couple copies of the Zavvi version. As I previously stated, this was a buddy of mine who asked me about it & I honestly had no clue of its value (or lack thereof). Thanks for the input, buddy!

The Little Mermaid G1 steelbook was a Futureshop exclusive steelbook (one of their first).. It was given out with the purchase of The Little Mermaid in 2007 I believe.. As to value there is an almost identical version from Italy that is the same other than writing language and it brings about $100.. That said I'm really not sure on this one, but I'm guessing that $300 is a little over the top, even being that rare..
I'd recommend just keeping an eye out for it.. it's always possible to get lucky like the winner of this auction..
