it actually is available in other countries besides the uk.
haven't seen this movie since i was a teenager at the beginning of the eighties, so i'll be picking this up. also hoping for a nice white finish!!
Death Proof didn't rip Vanishing Point off at all. Tarantino loved the movie so he used the Dodge Challenger that Kowalski drove in Death Proof. He was paying homage to the movie, not ripping it off!
I think there's a good chance it could be white or at least cream. The bottom section is grey so it would look strange if it was silver, the colours would look almost identical.

the inner art is a little surprising, as it does in fact serve as a somewhat unsubtle spoiler. hard to suggest what they could have otherwise used as i haven't seen it since the eighties.............
this is the only one from this wave that i really wanna get.

yeah true... i guess i called it a rip as its such a poor movie overall imo ...specially when u got the much better Planet Terror straight afterwards

problem with death proof was, i remember tarantino saying in an interview, that "planet terror" by rodriguez was shot before, and he spent almost the whole budget (that was planned for BOTH movies) on it. so there was just a "cheap" version made of death proof - which i still like very much, it's senseless neo-grindhouse trash, just like it should be.
^^ yeah i saw that in the special features... but small budgets nvr stopped T from makin good films when he 1st started... Resivour Dogs was a prety small budget too right? :movie:
