And another one turns up damaged from HMV - a big scratch across this one. Can't catch a break with these HMV releases recently - 3 out 5 sent back now. Odd thing is I've never had a problem with them up until about a month ago. Maybe it's just a run of bad luck.

Anyway, I'm just glad it's in still in stock so I can grab a replacement. Hopefully one in better condition!

Only the inside artwork saves this from being a complete disaster. The front art is dull and there is a real colour clash between the front and back, along with the stupid blue across the top- giving it a badly designed feel.

Easily the worst steel I've had this year.

Agree with the above. Sucks on hand. This could have at least had a glossy finish like other Disney UK Steels. On top of this, Bonus BD is missing which makes this an epic fail.

...and it's back up again for anyone who hasnt been put off by all the negative feedback this has received since pictures were posted of the artwork.:

Personally dont think it's too bad. Yes, it's a long way from being perfect and shows a lack of imagaination on Disney's part, but at least this movie is available as a steelbook and (so far) no other country has stated they will be issuing one for the film.

yes this does seem to have exclusivity to the UK, which is usually a sign could be rare as the print run seems small aswell. ive just ordered a copy at £15 bargain

That's really bad service if they have over sold the stock on pre-order! I hope your copy gets shipped eventually Leshita

Normally the retailers turn the product off or set it to sold out, so that people can't buy what isn't there to be bought. You'd also think they would set to sold out with some in stock to cover damages and returns. Maybe they got caught out on this one?

Actually I just realized I received an e-mail a couple of days ago regarding this order (I think) and it says they had trouble charging my card and for me to call them to confirm my info or they will continue to try charging for the next couple of days, hopefully they didn't decide to ship off my copy to someone else because of this.

HMV will try three times to gain authorisation and then they will cancel the order, I've had it happen tome on pre-pay cards when i have forgotten to top them up.

Don't forget that this isn't even released in the shops yet! I went to HMV Bluewater and they're advertising it as coming Monday! So they will probably get quite a few copies in, as they are in a really busy location and it was back on the website this morning!

I like it too. Not the best design ever, but certainly not the worst. At least it's not a stickerbook. I haven't seen the film, but if I like it, then I think it's good value.

Following a similar trend to Thor, going in and out of stock online at HMV but available instore. My guess is that they're adjusting their online stock level up by reducing store stock down. These wont last as the film is so popular and even non-steelbook collectors will be picking it up.

Got my copy a couple of days ago and watched it today - really enjoyed the movie (maybe not a great steelbook, but a steelbook nonetheless!)

My local HMV also advertised instore as coming Monday, priced £15
