What people should remember is that this is priced the same as the normal amaray, meaning non-collectors who simply want to buy the film will be picking this version up. War Horse is a massively popular movie, so this will sell heaps of copies in-store. Along with the fact that so far this is the only steelbook of the movie available, I believe it will sell out quickly.

It hasn't had as many comments or as much anticipation as other "more trendy" films, as it isn't as "cool" as comic book cross-overs are to comment on by the vast majority of street cred savvy steelbook collectors. However, this smashed the box office and will be bought by thousands. Not forgetting that some people simply love horses!

Opened my copy today and found a few scratches on the inside of the spine

sooo decided to convert to 2 disc and add the ASDA bonus disc with custom art ... looks much better than the scratches.

i picked a copy of this up instore today, and there were loads when the shop opened. also my order online has changed from deleted to completed now will ship with chosen shipping method so looks like i will have 2 copys.

Your inside art is basically the cover but reversed. Now that artwork is on the cover, inside and also on the discs.

I actually thought the original art was really nice.

my original inside had a couple of scratches on the spine and couldn't be bothered to send back so the inside art is to cover up the scratches.

This being deleted so soon was as obvious as night follows day. The same thing will soon happen with Play's "The Incredible Hulk"...
