Might as well press up a few more ironman and inglorious basterds steels while they are at it and kill every futureshop rarity off.
Every rare steel I ever owened is now officially reprinted ohh well only cost me nearly a thousand pound a years ago for exclusive rare futureshop sealed steels.... Rant over.

...The FS one is a Grail 
Will be interesting to see the art on this. Typically north American re releases share the same artwork. Inglorious Basterds being one that went in a different direction. Wont be getting this. Will keep the play version.
They will still hold their value , no second run will devalue the FS Grails
Not too sure m8 a sealed book of Eli futureshop would normally go for at least £50 a year ago. Today you are lucky to get £35 for it even though the best buy release is not a patch on it.

I think 99% that this will be different artwork to the FS version.
Even if it was the same artwork - there is zero possibility of it being the same in terms of quality and finish. The futureshop version will not be beaten by any re-release and nor will its value decrease.
Coming from a guy who doesn't even own the FS edition because he can't afford it.

While I agree in principle that the FS edition will still be valuable, I disagree with the notion that it will not be affected. How many would be purchasers will settle for this version and be happy with it? If it looks like it, it might well be it. Demand will certainly drop while these are in the market and once eBay is flooded with these high valued FS version won't be able to compete. This happened with Hangover 1 & 2, The dark knight, Batman begins, the departed, superman returns, clash of the titans and the list goes on. Effectively dropping prices of the originals. Hangover DE with inside art was once highly coveted. Now you would be lucky to get $20-25 for this. Heck I know cause I picked up the German hangover 2 for $13 brand new ( not re release either ).
Once would be buyers are off the market, the remaining base won't sustain the high valuations. Maybe on the forum but not in the open market. Its a cycle that has been seen before and will happen again.
You can still get the play one for a decent price if you buy it now
Haha, I know! It will just be more of a money saver if I wait for this release
