Something tells me there's going to be second Wave and this will be one of the titles as Top Gun has been announced.

if so, how many title do you think will be in this wave. Some of us need to plan ahead because there has been so many top tiles releases in steelbooks lately :D

I still don't know what to make of this film.

I rented it when it came out, and fell asleep half way through (albeit, it was very late).

I never watched the rest of it, because I remember not being able to get into it at all, you probably all think I'm one of these people, who needs an explosion every ten minutes to keep my attention.

I enjoyed the film even though like all of Snyder's films, it is more of an audio and visual indulgence than your typical 'good film'. I have enjoyed all of his films because I just take them at face-value and just enjoy the camera-work, visuals, and sound / music he chooses to create the atmosphere he is going for. Also, I really like Dr. Manhattan as a character. He is so powerful that he just lets his big blue schlong hang out without a care in the world, how cool is that? :hilarious:

You know Ive tried to like Zack Snyder's movies without putting too much thought into them and just accept them at face value... but still nothing, nadda for me. Its still a snooze fest for me especially this movie (although I will admit the visuals were pretty sick in this movie).

I mean its been a long time since I watched 300 and I might give it another go to give him the benefit of the doubt as I remember enjoying some parts of the movie... especially Lena ;)

Im super worried about Man of Steel as no one has gotten a Superman movie right in the recent past and now we have Snyder directing the next reboot. All I can hope is since Nolan's producing that his handprints are all over Man of Steel and its hopefully a movie of the calibre the Superman character deserves. I wish it was just Nolan directing instead, lol.

wreck said originally that it was going to be the same as the FS but then they changed there minds so who knows what it will be.

I'll be buying this as I love the film, The Dr Manhattan 'head' edition from HMV was my first ever Blu-ray purchase..Ive still not seen the extended edition though, gonna have to get one bought at some point

Snyders films seem to divide opinion, I enjoyed his remake/reworking of Dawn of the dead - its not a patch on the original of course but as a film I enjoyed it for what it was, I hated '300' I honestly cant understand why folks love it so much its a mess of a film...Oddly the same could be said about Sucker punch but I like that lol. Watchmen is just epic, a brilliant film. Im not much of a Superman fan, I watched the films as a kid but can take or leave them, but Im curious as to how Snyders film will turn out
