FS release is by Warner, so, highly unlikely that Paramount would use the same artwork. But, who knows.

You guys mean ultimate cut right? In the US, the regular release was the Director's cut and later the Ultimate Cut with the black freighter cartoon worked in.

I would have to disagree with you on this one. Unless FS explicitly stated that they will not be reproducing the exact same design in the future, other shops and the studio is free to reproduce it. I understand from a collector's perspective their copy devalues, but there is no where it says in your copy that the one your purchasing is a limited release.

It happens with video games ALL The time. Limited Editions have so much freaking stock that we all pre-order thinking it is limited and may sell out only to find a bunch of Limited Editions sitting on shelves 6 months later at half off.

Best example would be Star Wars The Old Republic Collector's edition.
IT was sold out every where online, in stores and going on ebay for $300.

Guess what, on the day of release my Best Buy had 7 extra copies and so did all the GameStops. And even now there is one copy sitting on the shelves at $99 now...

It's all fair unless there is the written word and contracted that what you have is the definitive copy.

It might be fair, but it doesn't change the fact that if they release the same artwork, they'll have a lot of pissed off collectors.

Just because something is legal, doesn't make it right.

I would love to see a yellow steel, like the Kings Speech Viva. I like the amray, but there is so much artwork kicking about it would be a shame to recycle with this release.

Im hoping for something different than the amaray, the films full of images that could be used and a yellow steel would definitely be nice. tbh though im more concerned about which version this is, as long as its directors or ultimate cut ill be happy whatever the art...

It would be awesome, but I doubt it will be the Ultimate cut.

Product details have it as 2h46m (186m is the DC run time) so I'm pretty sure it will be Directors Cut. By contrast, the Ultimate is 3h35m / 215m
