Yes, 4000. 4000 seems a standard print run but they can always decide to get more like a 5000 then.

thats more likely for this one than it ever was for iron man. just like terminator they could add an extra 1000 copies pending on how fast this sells out

I think yes, this has gathered just as much hype as the Iron man releases. Also a great film in my opinion.

Bought! This will go nicely with my Dr Manhattan & Rorsarch Special Edition Blurays sets. All the people who missed out on IM will make sure they wont miss out on this beauty so I am predicting this to sell out as quick as IM or near enough the same time.

Some of you should hold your horses a little with this pre-relse hype, because what version of watchmen play include in this steel will be very, very important to its overall long term success imo.

This is not like play's usual dropped bonus discs for many other releases like IM. There is over Twenty minutes of the main movie missing from the lame ass regular theatrical version, which the majority of people would not touch with a barge pole...

I'm sure that the actual steel will look great however, but 3-disc FS version owners will not be loosing any sleep at all :movie:

The uk paramount directors cut is highly regarded as the best looking transfer out of all the other versions available, followed by the uk TC.

If play wanted they could include both discs. Won't happen we know, but they could.

I really don't know what the fuss is about. The steelbook is cheap enough so that if you are not happy with the cut you can just buy the disc and put that in the case itself! They are all available so what's the big deal!

Well i can't wait for this baby, but after seeing Saving Private Ryan and Shooter with no embossing or debossing I'm kinda disappointed with them. So I'm hoping these one's coming October 15th like this, Transformers and War of the Worlds even Collateral have some sort of emboss/debossing even if just the logo's or boarder, maybe both. So maybe the leader's of HDN can shed some like on this soon or even encourage play.com to have them done. Thanks.

i'm up for that all the steelbook's there releasing i already own most, then end up selling them for less then what i paid. Have both options with film inside or empty.

I like this idea, as it seems that all the blu-rays that I have bought recently have been announced as getting steelbook releases, and it would save me double/triple dipping

Lol. I thought about that before. I recently won an empty steel which I have purchsed the blu disc for pounds to fill it. It seems the US have done a few so maybe it would catch on here.

I really like the Art they used on this. I hope it will have the DC Cut, already have the regular Cut in the German Steelbook and the DC Cut is the better Version of the Film.
