Just re-watched this (only my 2nd viewing - picked up a cheap copy of the 2 disc DC after pre-ordering the steel). The only other time I saw this was on Sky movies a few years back and a lot of it went completely over my head.

However it made so much more sense this time, I was drawn in. Maybe being the DC it helped, I'm not sure but watching it a second time has opened my eyes to how great this film is.

Anyhow, can't wait for the steel. Will convert to a 2 disc and add the special features disc. Hope this is glossy.

Seems they're using Hermes now......... That means say goodbye to Saturday/Monday deliveries. Hermes are possibly the worst courier in the UK, atrocious service and slow deliveries.

Thing is, I only ordered 4 steels for this wave, usually would be sent via normal Royal Mail. Can't see how using Hermes would be cheaper for Play.com for such a small package.

Lets see what actually happens before grabbing our pitchforks. RM have significantly increased their prices. When margins are tight can you really blame a supplier for being frugal?

I've just checked and was hoping mine would be royal mail, unfortunately Hermes now have their hands on 5 steels, at least only Watchmen is sold out if it goes missing (its happened to me before with Hermes)

Past experience with Hermes has not been good! Everything I've had delivered by them has been after release date (by 2-3 days) and I've also had a few parcels go 'missing', so my enthusiasm is not very great

I read nothing but bad reports about hermes, they delivered my Indy boxset last week and left it with a neighbour 2 doors down and didnt even bother to tell me...I only knew it had been delivered as I checked the order tracking and apparently Id signed for it when I was at work...I shouldnt have to go door to door to track down my post...

When I put the tracking number for this order into hermes websoite I get 'Sorry, there are no records matching your details' this isnt looking good....

On that side of it, it probably hasn't entered their system yet, only generated the tracking number from Play's side. I'd say by tomorrow it'll update with some more info, but I was told by HMV (as Hermes delivered my Bond box set), that they get told to not release anything for despatch before release day!
