Decided to switch my order to amazon usa from canada as i dont wanna take any chances - plus its also a little cheaper from usa atm

I have to say, this is one steelbook, where the original gloss on the Futureshop version really helped it pop! Too bad the reissue is matte; I'm not a fan of this recent trend of only doing matte finishes.

Found a mint one of these babies at Walmart. Not sure what I want to do yet, as I have the single disc UK one and it is actually one of my favorite steels. Love the art on my UK one, front and back. But this one if cool too because of the inside and 2 discs with nice art on the discs. Also, I have always associated the outside art with the expensive and hard to get Futureshop one, and it's just neat to be able to got get this at Walmart for $12.96. I don't think one extra disc (with no holder) and a glossy treatment is worth the unbelievable fetching price of the Futureshop one anymore. That's the thing about taking the plunge on an expensive steelbook. You never know when a new release is coming that might jeopardize the value of the "super rare" steel.

it is. I thought the same thing. there are 3 or 4 white splashes that look like small scratches. unless the 10 copies I looked at all had the same scratch patterns, they are splashes

haha I thought they were scratches to when I was looking through the copies at Walmart. I thought it was really odd that all the copies were scratched in the exact same place. Then I realized that it was just a raindrop and felt dumb.

I have the FS version but would also like this one as well.
The only thing that puts me off ordering from amazon.us is the fact that they will more than likely send it in a bubble envelope. Which has been my experience in the past with them....

The Fs will not drop in Price...lol .. like the I am legend. after all the hardwork and money collectors put into purchasing it. If I am correct some have the journal and its a 3 disc gloss finish so it should retain its value if not soar.. lol
