I might get this if it's still around at that price next week, have the UK SB, but also want the second disc in this one...
Can't add anything to the CC bill this week though, it's high enough already after last month...

Oh damn, just read thread, not same finish. The finish is the best thing about the CA steel, the back is just beautiful (no idea why everyone only looks at the front when its the back that stands out so well)

Now I have to selll it again :(

I don't understand why these companies cannot let a steelbook be exclusive to one particular country. Watchmen unlike other steelbooks was quite exclusive until now.

Are companies really that Desperate to make money these days?

I really feel I should I should give up this hobby as these companies are defeating the whole purpose behind steelbook collection.

Obviously not a student of business.

Well I have done my higher studies in Business and Marketing, but there's something called exclusivity and ethics as well.

These companies are forgetting the basic principles behind every successful business. One day what's gonna happen is there's gonna be saturation in the market and the sales are going to be so sluggish that there will be no meaning of "Collecting" steelbooks.

It's like you either kill the goose and get a few golden eggs out at once or you let it live and get a long lasting supply of the same eggs ;)

Same here as with the others, shipped

I prepaid the Import Fees Deposit, so, in theory, no Customs whack

I take it you ordered more than 1?

I had ordered my (single) copy using standard delivery, but a week or so ago I emailed Amazon "complaining" that it had been almost 4 weeks since I had placed my order, and despite it saying "shipped in 11-13 days" when I placed my order, nothing had happened.

So, they apologised and (without me asking) upgraded my shipping to DHL Global Priority shipping at no extra charge, so mine is due to be delivered to me on Monday :D

I reckon the shipping cost alone has cost Amazon way more than the $12.96 I paid for it!!

You got a result there

My group order was around $13 more than just ordering via standard shipping BUT I've paid the Import Fees Deposit upfront and maybe returned if not taken by UK customs
