I got a call today saying I didn't have to go into the clinic, and that means I'm done for the Holiday!!

So I cracked open a Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, haha

YES. glad you like it. i think its fantastic too, liked it as much as some of the other top barrel aged stuff. and then considering its price, dont know if theres a better beer for the money.

maybe thats why i bought a case of it, haha.

PS: i think ill crack open one of the Pt5 tonight. will let you know what i think!

I had a Dechutes Mirror Pond this weekend. It's an insane deal for a 22oz at $2.99! I think this one will be a summer staple. Probably going to have a CW BB Stout or a 3F Arctic Panzer Wolf here in a few minutes.

That sounds really good! Was this a breakfast beer?

I had my first and second Hopslam this weekend. I expected for it to taste like my mouth was getting beaten with a hops plant, like it does with Surly's Furious or Abrasive Ale. It was actually fairly mellow-ish. It still had a massive hops taste, but not the intense bite. Still crazy good!

Thanks for posting this pic. I did a homebrew clone that didn't turn out very good due to a low effiency, but I thought it looked really light for a brown ale. It's nice to see that Fat Squirrel isn't very dark for a brown.
