What TV shows did you think you would hate but love??

I'm sorry if this has been done before but it's 2.30 am, as always I can't sleep and was just thinking about tv shows that we think for whatever reason we will hate them but then we end up really liking.

For me recently it has to be Game of Thrones.

I'm not sure why but I had been oblivious to the whole phenomenon and despite knowing many people that loved it I was against it. I am not sure why I was just convinced it wasn't for me and I didn't want to read or hear anything about it.

Then one day it was on tv and I thought what the hell I'll give it a go fully expecting to hate it, 10 minutes in I already knew I had fallen unequivocally in love with it and there was no turning back.

Episode after episode I was hooked, it had me. The show oddly is so not what I thought it be and the acting and scripts are out of this world. Four seasons marathoned and I couldn't love the show more or get enough of it, interviews, books, magazines, merchandise, anything lol.
It is such a wonderful show to watch, I am not sure how I lived without it.

Are there any shows you have had similar experiences? Tell us about it, about the show? :)

I'm going to shameless attract all the pop funko people so someone answers my thread :( lol

Breaking Bad

The hype surrounding it lead me to believe it was another Avatar. One night in 2013 I gave it a chance, watched a few episodes and I was hooked. I was not sure whether I was enjoying it or not, when I was busy running errands around the house I would keep stressing out about Walt and Jesse and kept hoping nothing bad would happen to them. So to combat this, I ended up finishing the whole series in a few weeks, what a ride! After the experience I wish I savoured it a bit more.

I haven't got around to watching Game of Thrones yet, doesn't seem like my thing but evidently I don't know what "my thing" is! :D

Aww cool, :)

I also had a similar experience with Breaking Bad. I now think things that I might not like I should at least give a go and if I don't like them, I don't, but at least I've tried, never know I might love it .

Sherlock. I put it off for so long because I was convinced I'd hate it. Turns out it's actually really really good and I was an idiot for not getting into it sooner.

Easy this one Broadchurch I had no interest in this whatsoever but as soon as I'd seen the first episode I was hooked.

For me recently (well last year) was Fargo. Thougbt it was going to be terrible but it turned out great and also it took me two years to start game of thrones when it first came out because I thought that would be rubbish but boy was I wrong

Well, I wouldn't go as far as say that I Love it, but I do like the Flash. Mainly because its closer to the comic than the previous series was.

I love the flash, as I love the character only issue I had at first was getting over it was the guy from Glee and I kept thinking he was going to break into song, but I do love it

He's not bad. But now that Iris West is played by Candice Patton, how will they write in Wally West? Who happens to be white? (No racial offence just a an honest question)

Friends.

I didn't understand all the hype, until I watched an episode at a friend's place out of sheer boredom while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. I can now quote most of the lines from heart. :p

Game Of Thrones thought it was ALL hyped to the hilt untill I saw it :OMG: :hungry: .

Citizen Khan I do not get comedy at all but the wholeshow just cracks me up  .

Broadchurch I missed series one joys of being married to a grumpy git I quote "another detective thing pfffttt" now we are ALL hooked .
