Things get Wild today!

Children’s books have long been a source of incredible artistry, from both a drawing and writing perspective, and we’re ferociously excited to announce our newest release–officially licensed prints of one of our favorite parts of Where the Wild Things Are by the legendary Maurice Sendak!

Max’s crowning as the king of all Wild Things is a stupendous nighttime scene featuring vivid imagery of the Wild Things bowing, and wow-ing, at the majesty of Max. We worked closely with our printers to ensure that Maurice Sendak’s illustrations are given the royal treatment, and we’re really proud of the results. Also, we decided to be a bit rambunctious and create a Multi-Layer Acrylic edition for all of the truly Wild Things out there!

We went a bit too wild recently, and now we’re feeling hungry and sleepy.

For the third entry in our ongoing Where the Wild Things Are series, we’re releasing a print featuring Max and the Wild Things’s break after their wild rumpus. Maurice Sendak’s art and story offer one of the most imaginative worlds we’ve seen in children’s literature, and we’re proud to present our favorite pieces from the book as screen prints. This scene occurs just before Max gives up his crown and sets sail for home, and features beautiful scenery work and a nice sun-is-setting color palette.

Our newest entry in our Where the Wild Thing Are series sees Max against a lush, forested area of the island howling at the moon. Maurice Sendak’s art is tremendous and we adore pouring over the details, including the wonderful and varied texture work. We worked closely with our printers to ensure that Maurice Sendak’s illustrations are given the royal treatment, and we’re really excited by the results, especially the truly rambunctious Multi-Layer Acrylic edition.
