Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today officially announced that Where the Wild Things Are, the game based on the upcoming feature film, will hit retailers in October.
In the videogame, as in the movie and the popular children?s book, the main character Max explores the island of the Wild Things, where he befriends the creature ?King of All Wild Things,? who teaches him not to be scared of monsters. Of course, Max has to save Wild Things island before he can learn such grown-up lessons. Along your journey, you?ll be able to team-up with Wild Things, each having their own unique set of skills and special talents.
The movie is directed by Spike Jonze and produced by Tom Hanks, among others. It?s set to release in theaters on October 16.
The game is being developed for the PlayStation 3 (and others) and will coincide with the launch of the movie.
