Apparently you didn't get my point. Everyone's always complaining about not being able to get a copy. With this print run, there should absolutely be ZERO complaints.

There will always be somebody complaining they didn't get it during pre-order. I remember seeing people complain 2 months after a release went up and whined like a little ***** after it sold out. LOL.

I'm a bit surprised by the lukewarm response to this release to be honest. I really think it's a high quality package. The Steelbook front art is gorgeous and obviously reflects the beautiful cinematography of the film. The lenti slip does have a lot of text but if any film deserves to wear its plaudits on its sleeve (no pun intended) it's this one! The lenticular effect is quite clever too (kimchi are great at exploiting the lenticular effect in interesting ways) as the spot light is only visible with the left eye is will have a nice translucent effect when viewed. The different depths to the text works well too.
The full slip is a bit of a gamble as it seems like it might be an effect we haven't seen yet but even as a B/W image I find it appealing.
Disk = awesome
Also this film is probably one of the best of that year so that helps!

Each to their own though... I'm just really happy to be getting this. If it is done right it might well be my new favourite steel!

I'm having a very hard time which of these to get... I think probably the Lenti and Scanavo case........ But then I like the full slip too! :banghead:

It's amazing how the full package truly changes your mind.

I initially thought naa this can't beat the WWA zavvi version. But now that i've seen the full package, yes it can ! AND YES PLEASE. I want all versions !!

the lenti and the keepcase versions are the winners for me

full slip looks awful and i normally always love full slips.
You mean the keepcase full slip right? (I think there is only one keepcase version :confused:)
I'm probably gonna go for those two as well. Lenti and keepcase slip.

I was originally gonna go for just the lenti but really liking the slip on the keepcase.

This is my own opinion but I Think FA did the Nicest Edition with their film arena Collection Numbered Edition of WHIPLASH. Yes Kimchi did a nice one, there's some strong points and not so great ones but the FAC Package all together is well thought of and just a simplistic Classy beautiful Quality edition that showcases this wonderful Movie. The use of the WWA steel, which is one of the Nicest Steelbook of the Year, the Kimchi Steelbook cannot touch the WWA by a Mile ! The WWA Steel is a Pure little Gem so well executed. And at the core of all these Packages, what we look for the most is the heart of the Package, which is the Steelbook. All those who have seen/held in Hands the WWA of Whiplash know how slick and Classy the Design is as well as the High Quality Gloss Finish with debossed treatment(nice to see this for a change and not having to have a border around the steel).

FA's is still the winner for me too... that WW steelbook they used is one of my favourite steels of 2015. Kimchi's is still a gorgeous package too though, and I'll be delighted to have both in my collection. :)
