I think it is a great idea to let fans design the artwork and get people from the film involved but the choices in these Empire Magazine contests so far have been terrible.

I agree great idea but they have always picked the worse entries!

Yeah, not a huge fan of that, but it could've been worse... it could've been my bare metal design that won.

They really need to allow the public to vote on these contests, since we're the ones who will actually be buying the product!

It should be there right at the top of the OP. The OP was last edited on 6/3/15 at 4:09 PM, so I'm guessing that's when it was announced dude (yesterday). No idea why they didn't just make a new post announcing the winner, which would've obviously bumped the thread and actually made everyone aware straight away!

They usually post a video/photo of the "judge" picking their favourite design though (Nicolas Winding Refn made a video of him choosing the winner, and Danny Trejo took a photo of him holding the winning design), so it's strange we haven't got anything like that for this comp... although it does say in the T&Cs that Empire reserve the right to pick a winner should the director not be available for whatever reason, so maybe that's the case here?

These were the Only Artworks that I thought made the steel Classy and yet gets the spirit of the movie, IMO this was the ONLY wise choice

It wasn't there an hour ago and says last modified 10 mins ago. That's why I asked if this is definately the winner because the OP was showing the mockup question mark pic with details and a link to the comp and no word from empire, was it announced on their face book or Twitter or something?. anyway don't matter. I'll be cancelling this and possibly get on a price drop. oh I forgot zavvi deleted my account so I don't have it on pre order anymore anyway!

There's no mention of the winner on their social media accounts as far as I can see.
