Love those two designs! I saw Matt Roff's piece earlier in the week... I really like it as a poster, but I'm not sure it works too well as a steelbook.

My buddy Bernie Dave has entered the comp too, and I quite like his outcomes... the circular/cymbal effect he's used reminds me of the poster for Moon.

This one is still my absolute favourite though... it just looks so damn classy!

Yeah after I posted it I did start to think maybe a bit too cartooney but I still like it, maybe better as a print or something. Yeah I also still really like that gold symbol one.
Hopefully a decent design is picked but it prob won't please everyone

I guess I didn't realize it until now...I prefer to NOT have representative drawings as Steelbook covers. I don't dig it. One sheet art, or variations on the one-sheet art are preferable. I don't like 'some bohemian' artist giving me their take. (As interesting as they may be).
There are very few Drew Struzans and Bob Peaks in the world, and just 'any old drawing' is not the same.
Jesus, why not have the frickin' Matt Groening edition cover of WHIPLASH?

Just went looking for bottle rockets design then finding it and realising its also the gold symbol design me and noodles mentioned lol just didn't realise it was by that user lol.
For me defo between that one or one of the two variants I posted with miles teller and the Orange symbol background or darker symbol background. The 3 of them look class

Honestly, I haven't seen anything come close to bottlerocket's design. If the winner turns out to be anything other than bottlerocket's, I am going to be hugely disappointed.
