I really like the art posted on page 8.. Shame one of them didn't win.
I kind of like this artwork and I kind of don't at the same time.. 50/50.
The arm is a bit strange, I wouldn't be worried about a little blood, I would be worried that he's arm is broken in at least 2 places.. Did that happen in the movie? I've not seen it yet

No, it doesn't... I think the arm is meant to resemble the arm on the Man With The Golden Arm poster, drawn by Saul Bass, however... It doesn't work in favour for this steelbook at all!

Ugh. First of all, I love Saul Bass and I love designs inspired by his work. But this, this isn't just inspired by him - it's a total ripoff. Even though it's not exactly 100% the same, the arm design is totally stolen from the poster for The Man with the Golden Arm. Totally disappointed and I think they should pick a new winner to be honest.

Wasnt anticpating getting this steel but I really dont like the direction steelbook art is headed. Seems like every steelbook now looks like it should be hanging in an exibit and us collectors walk around eating cheese and wine while discussing how we interpret it and what we think it means. Mondo is cool but that gets a bit artsy fartsy sometimes too. I just like a good old poster art.
