This wont even get in the near of the Zavvi release!
It just will be a "cheap" wave !!! :)

So, going on past German Disney steels, this is going to be one of the worst steels on the market, and this film already has one of the best steelbooks made... :dunno:

Fortunantly I don't buy steelbooks as an investment. I buy them because I want to watch the film again, and I prefer the steelbook over the plastic case.

Where as once there was only a handful of titles released each year as a steelbook, it's getting to close to 100+ released a year. So they are getting fairly common.

I've send the photo of the Zavvi one to Amazon, and got a reply, and I can tell you that there is a 50% chance that it will be 100% identical to the previously released Zavvi one.

They told you there is a chance of 50%? Sounds kinda implausible to me, sorry mate.

Ps. My bet is, this will look similar/identical, just without the premium finish.

Not my position to say in all honesty. I'm not in a financial position to collect steelbooks like i used to collect DVD limited editions so I'm particularly chosey when it comes to my purchases now and it boils down to disc quality, price, features then packaging so my opinion shouldn't be made gospel. But there has been a few OOP titles that have been announced in other countries that the powers that be have intervened with to ensure that they wasn't the same to protect their collectability

I'm in the fun side of collecting for my movie collection

Here here!!

I look forward to seeing what this looks like. I hope the designer doesn't plaster German text all over it and keeps it simple. Put all the German text on a j-card that we can remove please.
