Not saying this isn't true but I'm in US and I've never received an order later than 7 days (also never damaged). But have read tons of posts about slow shipping so I don't know what gives.

It is strange really. I don't understand whats going on with zavvi. We even consider that they lie when sth is supposedly dispatched! This happens especially with video games, since they are really cheap.

amazon shipments via royal mail always arrive within 5-7 days. Same with play or hmv.

With Zavvi? If you're lucky you'll receive it in two or three weeks. I have the worst opinion for zavvi, but I really hope that changes. Roger Rabbit steelbook is my first order in a long time.

yup regular shipping.

I'm curious with Zavvi is that maybe they mark it shipped when it goes on the truck. Then it sits on the truck until it's full. Then the truck goes to the post office to drop it off. Could account for the spastic delivery times.

its truly sold out and there have been no returns yet as it has not been released yet.

it seems hit and miss with zavvi. think the channel island deliveries ceased from april last year. some zavvi stuff comes from the UK and some from outside the EU (i believe)

i have had items delivered within a couple of days and some items take 1 week

hopefully roger rabbit comes quickly, but i would expect it on the friday/saturday after release (and that's to the uk)

No, I double checked after I got the e-mail. I definitely wasn't willing to pay the 18 pounds for tracked.

Unfortunately, this is not the only problem with zavvi.

International orders take up to 1 month to arrive, after sales service is horrible (comparing to amazon for example)... I hope they fix everything, step by step.

Is this your personal experience?? I've ordered over 100 items from Zavvi in the past 12 months and not one has taken more than 10 days, usually 6/7.

Same here...two orders so far and both arrived in 6 days damage free and in only cardboard mailers at that.

I live in Ireland and they take about two weeks. IRELAND.....TWO WEEKS!!!?? Go figure...

I just cancelled my 2 copies for this as i'm not a big fan of the movie anyway, so hopefully zavvi actually lists them again for anyone else wanting a copy.

Maybe they'll wait until all preorders have been sent out, then relist it at a higher price.
