I doubt they will honour their promise for all orders. In fact, there is no way they will.

What are you on about? They have a price policy in place that's plastered all over the site (as does most sites now) I've never heard of a site not honouring that policy. They'd better honour mine or they'll be finding themselves losing customers on a weekly basis. Looks like I'll have to chase after that now too

Was it ever at the cheaper price? Does anyone have a screen capture? I didn't see it myself and I'm happy to pay £14.95 for this anyway if it turns out as good as we hope.

:shipped:
with 2x copies in it. :)
Price charged: 14.99£ each.

My other order of 1x copy has been charged, but not yet shipped...

I have had a shipping confirmation for one steel yet have been charged for the two copies i ordered. I did order them about a week apart so expect to get the second shipping confirmation email in a few days time.

I really don't think they ever did charge a lower price as i ordered this as soon as it came up and never got a sniff of the mythical 'cheap price' as long as my copies turn up undamaged then i will be more then happy with the cost!!

My point is every customer who had orders placed in the short window that the price was reduced should get that lower price upon despatch.

I myself am one if those people but because I didn't ask for it I won't be getting it. EXACTLY the same thing happened with Skyfall UK and Amazon.

I wouldn't have even been aware of the fact that the price had dropped had it not been for this forum. They may have it plastered all over their website but when push comes to shove, what is most important is profit and if they do honour this policy on ALL eligible orders they stand to lose a lot of £££'s.

I'm not naive enough to think otherwise.

Not a good sign. Maybe over sold and now there trying to reduce orders that have multiple copies. It doesn't make sense to ship just 1 and hold the 2nd.

they should cancel the preorder of the last costumers and not reducing order quantity. Three of us preorder on my address to save on shipping. how we gonna split one steel for three?

Dispatched to the US. I hope we see the promised packaging. Either way I'm stuck with whatever shows up in whatever shape. Fingers crossed.

If you have evidence that the price was lower, then I think you may have a case. If not, then it's tough luck. The same thing didn't happen with Skyfall though. That never dropped in price. It started off at the lower price and was increased shortly after. Any refund given by Amazon was just goodwill. I know this was the case with Skyfall since I believe it was myself who started it (or at least was the first to post about it).

Zavvi always shipped all of the items in one order separately. The last time I ordered 5 blurays I got five packages, all dispatched on the same day.

OK heres my problem: I ordered mine day 1, the price should've been £14.99 (Eur17.50) I've been charged Eur19.29. This is NOT £14.99. WTF?
Assuming that you bought it on the UK site and was charged in GBP... surely the discrepancy would be down to your banks rate of exchange rather than Zavvi?
