There has been far too many made available on Amazon in the last week for it to be returned stock. It just seems that there is a general problem with this release, like there was with Ted and End of Watch and various others. I don't have mine yet.

My copy arrived today, opened it and removed the slip card and it seems to be in mint condition. There might be small paint chip in the sky on the back or it could just be the way the sky is, I can't tell. Can't feel anything when I brush my finger over it and its just as smooth as the rest so should be alright.

Anyone else from the States not received their Willow yet? My pre-order shipment confirmation email said it was dispatched on March 11 with a delivery estimate of April 1, but here it is April 8 and still no sign of it. It's approaching a full month now. Seems excessive.

I ordered last Thursday at about 2am (4th April) and it was dispatched later that day. I received it this morning. I can't believe how fast it got here!

I've had 3 from Amazon now, all scratched in the same place. Then I tried ordering one from Sainsburys. That one wasn't scratched but they sent it in a flimsy card mailer and it got dented. Not having much luck with this one, lol.

Amazon got a secret facility on their backyard to print steels after placing the order. They are playing mind games by pulling out items and restocking them. Don't know how they magically find 1000 copies.EEK!

I am fine with loose disc but no marks on the case please.:ohno:

I received 2 today from Amazon and they both have slight spine slashes but only on the cellophane wrap, neither have gone through to the case so I'm happy.

Might be a different story when I open it though ;)

Another damaged copy received from Amazon. Paint chips on the back and sent in a flimsy card mailer so dented too. Calling it a day with this one now - quality control is just abysmal on it. Maybe I'll try the French one with the booklet instead.

Wow this is strange that they are sending UK orders in card mailers. I guess the designated steelbook packaging boxes they use are only for international shipments?

They usually do use the steelbook boxes but occasionally - if you're unlucky - they switch back to the old style card mailers.
