As they unpacked their things their six year old daughter Nell played in the back yard. It was fall and the leaves were orange gold and blood red.

Nell kicked the leafs as she played imaginary friend. On a broken swing nearby she would turn and ask her imaginary friend if he liked the new house.

 

[Brian Puterman]

While we could hear no voice the swing slowly rocked back and forth back and forth. Nell's mother came outside and the swing suddenly stopped.

She tells Nell that it's time for lunch and to come inside. Nell reluctantly follows. And as they walk inside the swing once again begins to rock back and forth. A breeze blows the leaves and we notice below the swing half buried in the leaves is a partially burned cracked clown face mask.

Masks moves a little bit...but we see its smal centipede that is comming from beneath. Centipede is smashed by the clown's leg...

Inside the house later that day the father is putting some boxes into the basement for storage. As he does he hears a sound like scurrying from inside the walls. He stops and listens closely.

The sound leads him to a crawl space with a little entry way at the bottom of the wall. He grabs his flashlight and peeks in.

 

[Brian Puterman]

At first he sees nothing. Then something dark and human size crosses the beam starling him. He drops the light and it goes dark for a moment.

He picks up the flashlight and shines it inside and he sees old worn circus posters lining the back wall. They're all different styles of the same strange looking clowns face.

Torn and water stained you can still read the clowns name. It's POGO the clown which happens to be serial killer William Gacy's clown characters name.

On a side was were posters of Twisty the clown and Pagliachi. All of them were dead and all of them were murderers.

The father shut the little doorway entrance to the crawlspace and went back upstairs to his family.

And asked what’s for tea

...there was silence and no response. He repeated his question again.

Balloons were tied to each of the dead family members all had there throats slit

But this was just in his imagination or a hallucination. He rubbed his eyes and the scene returned to normal again. Everyone alive and enjoying the new home.

There was a knock at the front door.
