Yeah really really like Michael Keaton and TIm Burton's projection of Batman in the Batman and Batman Returns films. Batman Returns was such a scary take and Danny DeVitos protrayal of Penguin was spine chilling. Not for the little ones to watch, certainly.

But, the direction of the trilogy, the Dark Knight Trilogy, I would just edge it to Christian Bale. Mainly due to Nolan's direction, a great Goyer script and great supporting actors.

Yeah, I think Bale edged it. Just
