The best anyone could do is adapt to life permanently on the island. Trying to pull a "Lost" and risking an escape off the island surely will not help. You learn to live as best you can as long as you can with what you have.

I need something with range. Can get too close to anyone. How about something like a really large one of these:

I'd be great at camouflage and live in trees and just use my ninja skillz to get about and taking people out with my hands (punch through chests lol)
But my weapon of choice would also be thors hammer as I can throw it at people and it will come back to me, smash the floor creating shock waves, create lightning and fly me around lol
