Only if it's a single film as it's meant to be seen, with the fake trailers and HD audio (not like the US release). So basically the German steelbook with a better slip?

The German one is about as perfect a Steelbook as you can get for this film, except it doesn't play in the US. Give me the Grindhouse Double-Feature or nothing (This is meant to be a single movie). And by that I mean just as I experienced it in the theater; An overall 70s feel, Planet Terror, some fake trailers, and then Death Proof, all in one long cut. I think Death Proof should have been first originally, but I'll take it just as they gave it to me.

You can play it, get a region free player.

Seperate steels so Death Proof can sit alongside the other Tarantino steels as a set as opposed to a double bill where it would stand out in the collection...

I already have the German double steelbook, so I'd love single steels for both films! I always really liked the old DVD steels, which I actually still have as I could never get myself to part with them.

Did not realise there was dvd steelbooks with those images. I hate dvd steelbooks but would consider buying those just to add to my collection of grindhouse bits.
They from the UK?
EDIT: just Seen the best buy sticker lol

It's a proper close shave between double pack and single steels.

Maybe if a retailer did these and they were single steels they would sell them together for roughly £25 and have the double feature in one of the steels and you have to buy both to get the double feature (but what film do you pick to put that in - wouldn't bother me what one) or if you order both you get a separate steel as the double feature for free but only if you order both with possibly the german style (but better) to please those people. so 3 steels in total but one free (wouldn't happen but a long shot and would also get complicated lol)

Who knows, I just hope if this happens it's not just one steelbook.

Also like some have commented some people like one and not the other film so single steels make sense without having to watch one part of the film or skipping to deathproof if your just a fan of that. I love both films (favouring deathproof) but would make sense for those that only like one of the films

Love Planet Terror, there is great artwork for it too. Would make an awesome Steelbook.

Not interested in Dead Proof because of the poor artwork (and I don't like Death Proof).

Er..... Love these films! Well I have them seperate on DVD (death proof having the reversible sleeve) and the blu ray double pack with the beautiful slip but I think I would want the steelbooks seperate too with the full uncut films like the DVD's. but I also wouldn't want them at £15 But I suppose they wouldn't go cheaper than that on first sale.

I'm a big fan of the dvd artwork (I bet you all hate that) but I also used to have a cool deathproof and planet terror poster of the images on the first photo below the keyring and blubray. Love them. And maybe the kurt Russell and the chic as artcards aswell as the planet terror dvd art or as back art and I think would look quite cool too aswell this as a art card.....

Still need to get cherry darling

I've noticed double pack is winning but I personally would hate that

Didn't you get the japanese dvd (6 discs) double pack edition? It spreads quality everywhere! In the materials, in the print quality, in the package, on the whole art (the discs are amazing)... If you're a sucker for those two movies you need to get that for sure!

Holy moly, wow. I've heard of it but never actually seen it, I didn't know about it at the time.
Shame that german steelbook is in the way :) lol

How comes it 6 discs?
Wasn't there also a version with scratch and sniff discs and the bbq sauce recipe or something?
