actually W.I.R. was available to order @zavvi.nl all the time for the last weeks, but switched to "sold out" a few days ago. just when i thought, that's it now, it comes back in stock on their main page. zavvi playing wicked games again. i think we all should just get used to it, zavvi's "SOLD OUT" always means "on hold for a while".

even steels that were meant to be long sold out like kill bill or thor came back in stock again. my thor steelbook was shipped last week, i thought it was sold out since half a year?!

but you're right, "always" sounds a bit too overstated. there are some i'd love to see back in stock for half an hour (like commando, evil dead 2,..) but that won't happen.

I remember when this steelbook was announced. In the end it was nothing but hype. Never should have sold my Blufans exclusive.

I think a lot of people who missed out on the blu fans were glad of the chance to get a cheaper alternative.
I own both of them, and while Zavvi's effort doesnt have the same finishing it wasn't plagued by the same manufacturing issues as the blu fans version was.

wow, I couldnt disagree more. This is one steelbook Zavvi actually did perfectly, inside and out, IMO
Blu-fan's version wasnt very nice and severely overly priced
